Debora joined our Board in 2009 and became Chair of the Board of Management in July 2015.
She has over 28 years’ experience in the superannuation and financial services industry through CEO and senior executive roles.
Her skills include corporate governance and financial control, relationship management, business development, communication and information management, employer and member services, strategic planning and staff development.
In her non-executive roles, Debora has been a Director of Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST) and an Independent Director Trustee with Holden Employees Superannuation Fund (HESF).
Debora holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Melbourne.

John joined our Board in 2013.
He has extensive experience in the health sector, with previous roles as Executive Director, Finance and Corporate at The Royal Children’s Hospital and Financial Controller at Austin Health. He is currently Executive Director Finance at the Australian Red Cross Blood Service.
John is a Certified Practising Accountant, holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Member, Strategy and Governance Committee
Angela joined the Board in 2017.
She brings a strong governance and legal background to NSS and has more than 20 years’ experience working in legal and governance roles across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
Angela worked in several senior roles in the Victorian Government, including serving as the Acting General Counsel for the Taxi Services Commission during the recent period of major reform. She also has a well-developed communications background, having worked as a journalist and held international senior public relations roles in London.
Angela is a qualified lawyer and currently the Company Secretary at Deaf Children Australia. She thrives on working in sectors that are experiencing change and reform.
Treasurer, Chair, Audit and Risk Committee
Andrew joined our Board in 2010.
He has over 15 years’ experience in audit, insolvency and corporate recovery, both in Australia and the United Kingdom. More recently he has spent 10 years working in finance and company secretarial roles in the not-for-profit industry super fund sector.
Andrew is the former Company Secretary for Industry Fund Services Ltd.
He holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), is an Associate member of the Institutes of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Member, Strategy and Governance Committee
Graeme joined our Board in October 2016.
He is a qualified barrister and solicitor and brings strong board experience to NSS through his previous role as Chair of the Tenants Union of Victoria. He has been the Team Manager and Principal Lawyer with the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) since 2009.
Graeme has also worked as a Legal Educator and Policy Worker for St Kilda and Villamanta Legal Services, Legal Officer for State Trustees Corporation, Principal and Senior Solicitor for Tenants Union of Victoria, Senior Solicitor for Consumer Affairs Victoria and Registrar of the Business Licensing Authority.
Graeme worked in the disability sector before beginning his legal career.
Member, Audit and Risk Committee
Clive joined our Board in October 2016.
He brings strong financial, systems, and governance skills to NSS. He has been the Chief Financial Officer for Naturelinks Pty Ltd since April 2014.
In this role, Clive works across different areas including budgeting, reporting design, KPI and performance management, planning and business management training.
During his career, Clive has worked as Chief Financial Officer and Controller for different sectors including humanitarian (Care International) and manufacturing (Castricum Brothers, Burra Foods, Susan Day Cakes).
