Introduction

Northern Support Services (NSS) for people with disabilities is a non-profit community organisation created by people with a disability and their families in the 1940’s.

We deliver a broad range of services to people with disabilities and their families in the northern region of Melbourne.

DAY PROGRAMS

• VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING

INDIVIDUAL SERVICE PROVISION

• RESPITE
  NSS respite program provide breaks for families and other unpaid care givers of adults with an intellectual disability in order to support and maintain the care giving relationship.  » more
• RECREATION PROGRAM
  After school hours activities for people aged between 12 -18 involved in recreational, leisure, sporting and entertainment opportunities.
• OUTREACH
  Supporting people to achieve goals and live in an inclusive community

NSS is experienced in service delivery in a range of community settings including, recreation and fitness centres, neighbourhood houses, TAFE, colleges, commercial business settings and specialist service providers thereby maximising flexibility and choice, community connectedness and inclusive lifestyles.
