H1N1 Influenza 09 (Human Swine Flu) - Update 23 June

The Australian Government pandemic alert has moved to the 'PROTECT' phase. Victoria is still in the modified sustain phase to manage the impact of the H1N1 strain and normal seasonal flu in our community. This includes focusing efforts on vulnerable groups who are most at risk.

If you feel unwell with flu-like symptoms, please call ahead and present to your GP.

 

The number of confirmed cases of Human Swine Flu in Victoria is 1,406.

 
We all have a role to play

* Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze
* Dispose of used tissues in the bin
* Wash your hands often and thoroughly
* Do not go to work or school if you are feeling unwell
